I’m a lawyer with an LL.M. in Public International Law, Korea enthusiast, traveler, and wannabe human rights defender.
This blog is intended to serve as a place to discuss conflict-related issues on the Korean Peninsula, specifically updates about the North Korean legal system, its human rights abuses, and the changing information environment.
I welcome feedback, content suggestions, and am looking for contributing bloggers.

What a timely, educational and fascinating blog. I look forward to reading this!
Thank you!
This is coming along quite nicely AMO! Very well done! Hope this becomes a go-to blog for all the North Korea-philes.
Thanks! I appreciate your support!
Your blog is certainly timely. I’ve just finished reading two New York Times articles about North Korea: one on the U.N. sanctions regarding its human rights record and the other on its threats to break the armistice. There’s little doubt that North Korea is about the most opaque country in the world. Your blog seems to me an important effort for helping people better understand what is going on there.
Thank you for your feedback!
